Remove the veins from the shrimp with scissors or a knife, then rub them well with potato starch and rinse under running water. This is an important step to remove any unpleasant odors and improve the texture.
2) Marinate the shrimp
Place the prepared shrimp, minced onion, and garlic in a plastic bag. Add lemon juice, olive oil, and salt, then refrigerate for about an hour.
3) Sauté
Pour all contents of the plastic bag into a frying pan and cook over medium heat. When the shrimp turn red, add butter and cook until well browned.
4) Adjust seasoning
Finally, add the Crispy Chili and sauté for about 30 seconds. It's done!
Garlic shrimp is delicious on its own, but the sauce with Crispy Chili pairs wonderfully with rice!
