【Instructions】
1. Prepare the soup and noodles
Heat the soup in its frozen pack in simmering water over low heat for about 10 minutes. Thaw the noodles in advance, then open the pack and loosen each noodle ball thoroughly after thawing.
(This step of "thoroughly loosening" is key to delicious results.)
2. Boil the wontons
Bring water to a boil in a pot, then add the frozen wontons. Once it boils again, reduce the heat slightly and gently boil the wontons so they don't break apart in the pot. This is the trick. Boil for about 5 minutes until the skins become translucent, then remove them from the water and transfer them to the soup pot to keep warm.
3. Boil the noodles
Prepare plenty of boiling water in a large pot to prevent the noodles from cooling down. Once it's boiling vigorously, add the noodles and boil them for 10 seconds. Be careful not to overcook, as this will compromise the texture. Once boiled, drain thoroughly, place in a bowl, pour in the soup, and it's ready.
(※The original style of "Hong Kong Wonton Noodles" has the noodles on top of the wontons. Please enjoy before the noodles get soggy.)
【Optional arrangements】
・Adding a small amount of red vinegar will give it a refreshing taste.
