Chimaki are auspicious treats that are always eaten in Hong Kong during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Leading up to the Dragon Boat Festival, we will be selling a limited quantity of Mankee's special Hong Kong chimaki.
Mankee's handmade chimaki are truly fit to be called the "king of chimaki"!
The ingredients include salted duck egg (traditionally said to ward off illness for a year if eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival), pork, and mung beans.
They weigh a whopping 400g! They're so big that even a large plate looks small! Truly the king of chimaki. You can share them with your family and enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival spirit together. The fragrant bamboo leaves that wrap them, and the joy of peeling back the leaves as the aroma rises, are also part of the chimaki experience. Despite their strong visual impact, the seasoning inside is refined and elegant.

Remove from bag and boil in boiling water. Boiling time guideline: 25-30 minutes from frozen, or 10-15 minutes after thawing. *Not recommended for microwave cooking. |
